I led the 0→1 build of an AI-native community platform at ablefy — filling a critical gap in our creator toolset.
- The product: A single place for creators to host, connect, and monetise their communities
- The business model: Standalone SaaS product that also serves as a lead magnet into the broader ablefy ecosystem
- The strategic bet: AI as the differentiator — smarter onboarding, moderation, and creator insights from day one
- Speed vs. legacy — high customer demand and AI-era urgency, slowed by a monolithic architecture
- DACH compliance — GDPR and payment regulations that generic platforms ignore, requiring deep integration with ablefy's core
- AI without alienation — differentiate through AI while keeping engagement authentic
Empathise & Discovery
Analysed requests across six channels to quantify demand.
- Signal was clear: Creators consistently asked for a way to bring communities inside the platform they already use
- Volume was strong: Demand surfaced across support tickets, sales calls, surveys, social media, partner feedback, and churn interviews
Mapped the landscape to find positioning opportunities.
- Own the European market — brand trust, GDPR compliance, and native monetisation give ablefy a defensible edge in DACH
- Seize the AI-first position — no platform yet combines community, hosting, monetisation, and AI in one product
20+ interviews with creators and course builders. Key findings:

Iterative Execution
Balancing speed with quality through progressive scaling:
- Week 1 — Internal adoption: Team used the product daily to validate core functionality
- Month 1 — First beta tester: Core features live with real end-users
- Months 1–3 — Closed beta: 50 creators, 500 members, 30+ feedback interviews (target CSAT 3+)
- Months 3–5 — Open beta: 1,000 customers, stress-testing stability (target CSAT 4+)
- Marketing launch: Acquisition and upgrade campaigns across registration funnels, SaaS revenue, and engagement
